Zusammenfassung

Practice Plus Group Holdings Limited, Health in Justice team, is seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker on a part-time basis. The role covers 18.75 hours per week over 3/4 days, with mornings and afternoons, and an annual salary up to £16,755.

You will provide evidence-based psycho-social care to a caseload, deliver interventions, and support healthcare teams in NHS secure settings while promoting compassionate, non-judgemental care.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant degree/qualification or equivalent experience
• Knowledge and experience in the provision of structured psycho social interventions
• Experience of working within the substance misuse multi-disciplinary frame work, that includes housing, social care, healthcare, and mental health pathways
• Anon-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills and IT literacy
• Ability to work within a busy environment

Aufgaben

• Provide outstanding evidence based care to a case load of psycho social patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
• Deliver a programme of psycho social interventions, along with information and advice on substance misuse, alcohol, smoking cessation, blood borne viruses and safe sex practices.
• Deliver non-judgemental care on a one to one basis and through group work, supporting the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care within healthcare centres and on wings and house blocks.
• Share knowledge and skills to ensure safe care and support each other to do a great job engaging with the process of reflection and supervision.

As a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker your responsibilities will vary.
