Archer Resourcing has a great opportunity for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join the team at HMP Styal.

As a Substance Misuse Nurse, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, conducting comprehensive assessments and reviewing individual recovery plans. The successful candidate should possess strong communication skills to effectively discuss treatment options with patients and their families, supporting their recovery process.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing primary care, mental health, and substance misuse services to patients
• Collaborating with other agencies
• Assessing care needs and delivering high standards of care
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating care programmes tailored to individual needs
• Delivering training on substance misuse issues to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Experience working within substance misuse services
• Relevant degree
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months (on the update service) for fast-tracking
• Current and valid NMC registration
• Ability to deliver person-centered, non-judgemental treatments and interventions
