Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Project Quality Engineer to support Subsea projects across engineering, manufacturing and supply chain. You will prevent quality issues, assess risks early and ensure products and processes are production-ready.

You will lead quality activities, participate in design reviews and gates, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-integrity solutions for customers in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

Strong background in APQP, PPAP and quality planning for projects.
Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans and FAI/FAIR.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer requirements.
Experience in Subsea, Oil & Gas, or other regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Take quality ownership for assigned projects and products throughout lifecycle.
Lead and coordinate quality activities such as APQP and PPAP.
Participate in design reviews, gates and manufacturing readiness reviews.
Identify and manage product and process risks using FMEA and risk assessments.
Ensure validation, inspection and verification activities are in place (FAI/FAIR, ITPs, MSA).
Support manufacturing and suppliers in resolving quality issues using structured problem solving.
Act as quality contact for customers and support quality reviews and audits.
Use lessons learned and data to drive continuous improvement.
