Job summary

Brian Perry Civil in the Southern Region seeks a strategic Submissions Manager to lead end-to-end development of high-quality, competitive bids for major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate bid writers, designers, and technical teams to meet tight deadlines and craft propositions that differentiate us in the market.

The role requires a proven track record in tender submissions, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams under pressure.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Business Management, or Project Management.
• 5+ years’ tender submissions, project coordination, bid writing, procurement, tendering roles or similar.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign; strong writing and stakeholder communication.

About The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and detail-driven Submissions Manager to lead the end-to-end development of high-quality, competitive bids for major infrastructure projects across the Southern Region. This role is central to how we win work combining leadership, collaboration, and a sharp eye for compelling storytelling.

• Lead and manage the development of submissions for priority projects
• Coordinate bid writers, designers, and technical teams to meet deadlines
• Shape value propositions and differentiators that speak to client needs
• Drive continuous improvement in submissions quality and process
• Maintain and evolve our submissions knowledge base and content library
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class proposals

What You’ll Bring

• Relevant tertiary qualification in either Communications, Business Management, or Project Management
• At least 5 years’ experience in tender submissions, project coordination, bid writing, procurement, tendering roles or similar
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills across diverse audiences
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams under pressure and tight timeframes
• Strategic thinking with a focus on client needs and competitive positioning
• High-level planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
