Job summary

Hunter Savage is seeking an experienced Bid Writer for our client in the construction sector, based in Dungannon with hybrid working options. You will lead tender responses from kick-off through to final submission, crafting clear, client-ready documents that help win high-value contracts.

The role requires 5+ years of PQQ and tender preparation experience, a construction/engineering degree, and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience preparing PQQs and tender submissions within construction or civil engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to client-facing documents.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to produce bids.

Responsibilities

• Develop win strategies and answer plans for tenders and PQQs.
• Review requirements and plan overall submission approach.
• Research to support well-informed, high-quality bid submissions.
• Lead assigned bids from kick-off to coordinating written responses.
• Produce, edit and review bespoke tender responses aligned with client needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on technical content.
• Prepare client presentation materials and attend interviews as required.
• Maintain bid information within bid software and company systems.
• Visit project sites to gather information for case studies.

The Role
