Job summary

SaluteMyJob is seeking a Weapons Engineering Instructor to deliver classroom and simulator training for submarine Tactical Weapons Engineering systems, with security clearance requirements, based onsite at HMNB Clyde.

You will provide subject matter expertise to training design and review, support governance through reporting and assurance, and liaise with stakeholders as the technical point of contact for training queries.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of submarine Tactical Weapons Engineering systems.
• Experience in Weapons Handling operations.

Responsibilities

• Delivering classroom and simulator-based training, primarily focused on Astute Class submarines
• Providing subject matter expertise to support training design and review
• Supporting governance through reporting, documentation, and assurance
• Liaising with stakeholders and acting as a technical point of contact for training queries
• Maintaining safe systems of work and ensuring compliance with internal and external policies
