Job summary

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Subject Specialist Teachers to work across secondary schools throughout South Yorkshire. Location: South Yorkshire. Salary: £130–£230 per day, depending on experience and role.

This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs looking to build classroom experience, as well as experienced teachers seeking greater flexibility around their work. We welcome applications from qualified teachers with QTS and from overseas-trained teachers who have UK experience.

The Role

As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will:

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Assess and monitor student progress where required.
• Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Adapt your teaching to support a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Contribute positively to the wider school environment.

We Are Looking For

We welcome applications from:

• Qualified Teachers with QTS
• ECTs looking to gain further classroom experience
• Experienced teachers seeking flexible or supply work
• Overseas-trained teachers with relevant UK teaching experience or qualifications
• Teachers with strong subject knowledge and a passion for education

You will need excellent communication skills, a positive approach to classroom management and the ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
