Saints Peter & Paul Catholic High School, part of Halton Borough Council Schools, seeks a proactive Subject Leader of History to shape the GCSE curriculum and raise attainment.

You will lead curriculum development, analyse data to drive progress, and mentor colleagues within the History department to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

• Experience as a history teacher with GCSE knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead curriculum development.
• Experience mentoring staff and driving department improvement.

As Subject Leader for History you will:

• Lead and develop our history curriculum, ensuring it is engaging, challenging, and aligned with national standards.
• Drive student achievementby analysing data, implementing interventions, and setting high expectations for progress and behaviour.
• Support and mentor colleagues, sharing best practice and leading professional development within the history department
