Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Subject Access Request (SAR) Officer in Ealing, West London (W5 2HL). This hybrid role is 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, on a 3-month contract with a possible extension. The position starts ASAP and runs 35 hours per week.

Based in the Housing Strategy, Performance and Improvement team, you will manage SARs in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, ensuring accurate, compliant responses within statutory deadlines and maintaining robust audit trails.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Subject Access Requests and information governance tasks.
• Understanding of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 principles.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient with MS Office and case/records management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Subject Access Requests from receipt through to completion.
• Gather, review and collate information from multiple departments.
• Identify personal data and apply appropriate redactions.
• Ensure requests are processed within statutory timescales.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain information and provide progress updates.
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails of all requests and actions taken.
