Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking an experienced Subcontract Manager to lead moderately sized subcontracting projects for the British Army. This role operates in a matrix organisation, reporting through OMNIA Training and the Raytheon UK Commercial team, and requires close collaboration with suppliers and customers to drive value.

You will act as a subject-matter expert in subcontract management, shaping budgets, terms, and conditions, and guiding junior staff to deliver high‑quality outcomes in a defence

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of subcontract management and contract execution.

• Experience in managing complex subcontracting activities and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors with moderately sized contracts (£50 - £100m) with minimal oversight.
• Lead development of budgets and operation plans for subcontracting.
• Negotiate contracts and non-disclosure agreements.
• Drive improvements in processes and performance across departments.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to influence policies.
• Coach and develop junior staff to ensure quality delivery.
• Contribute to new solutions and standards aligned with business strategy.
