Search Consultancy LTD is assisting a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor in recruiting a Sub-Agent for their Glasgow team. You will support day-to-day site operations, working with the Site Agent and project team to deliver works safely, on programme and within budget across rail, civil, and infrastructure schemes in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sub-Agent, Site Engineer or similar site-based role within civil engineering, rail or infrastructure construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site management procedures and project delivery requirements.
• Experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors and resources to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation, quality assurance and environmental management procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Agent with planning, coordination and management of daily site activities to deliver works safely and in programme.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials to maintain productivity and achieve milestones.
• Monitor construction progress against programme and address delays with corrective actions.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, quality standards and health and safety legislation.
• Manage site documentation including daily records, progress reports and QA records.
• Liaise with Site Agents, Site Engineers, Project Managers, clients and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
