An established industry player is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join their dynamic construction team on an important flood defence project. About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sub Agent to join our construction teams on the Comrie Flood Defence project based within the Perth & Kinross region of Scotland. This project boasts excellent career development opportunities as the project progresses.
Balfour Beatty is the principal contractor for the £27 million Comrie Flood Protection Scheme in Scotland, tasked with designing and constructing flood defences to protect 189 homes and businesses from a 1-in-200-year flood event. Appointed in August 2024, their role includes building 2.8km of river walls and embankments along the Water of Ruchill, River Earn, and River Lednock, replacing outdated defences, and implementing innovative root wad revetments for bank protection.
