VolkerWessels UK, through VolkerStevin, is seeking a proactive Sub Agent to lead civil, structural and electrical interface works on a major National Grid substation project. You will work alongside the Project Manager and Site Agent, guiding engineers, supervisors and supply chain partners to deliver to programme, budget and quality expectations.

Applicants should hold a civil engineering or construction management degree and possess SMSTS, CSCS, and Temporary Works qualifications, with

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience as Sub Agent, Senior Engineer or similar on major infrastructure, utilities or energy projects.
• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS management card or EUSR CSCS.
• Temporary Works Supervisor competence.
• First Aid at Work qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience managing programmes, RAMS, ITPs, subcontractors and project change.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineers, supervisors and supply chain partners to deliver civil, structural and electrical interface works to programme.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Site Agent to meet budget and quality targets.
• Oversee safety, risk assessments and RAMS for live projects.
• Manage subcontractors and changes to the project scope.

We're looking for a proactive and collaborative construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys leading teams to achieve exceptional results.,

• A Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Sub Agent, Senior Engineer or similar role within major infrastructure, utilities or energy projects.
• SMSTS certification.
• Relevant CSCS or EUSR CSCS management card.
• Temporary Works Supervisor competence.
• First Aid at Work qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong experience managing programmes, RAMS, ITPs, subcontractors and project change.

It would be advantageous if you also have:

• Experience working on National Grid or high-voltage substation projects.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and compensation event processes.
• Temporary Works Coordinator qualification.
• Experience managing lifting operations.
• Experience delivering projects within live operational environments and planned outage programmes.
