Stylist – Dog Groomer/Assistant Stylist – Trainee Dog Groomer – Stratford Upon Avon – 39 Hours
Salary: Stylist (Dog Groomer) £11.84 per hour / Assistant Stylist (Trainee Dog Groomer) £11.44 per hour

We’re Pets at Home – if you love pets, you might already know about our Pet Care Centres, which include Pets Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices around the UK.

What are the roles?
Our Stylists and Assistant Stylist dog groomers are crucial to the success of our Pets Grooming salons.

Stylist:
You will be responsible for all aspects of pet grooming, confidently delivering high-standard, thorough grooms. You will exceed customer expectations by providing excellent service within the salon. Strong communication skills are essential as you will interact with customers and their pets daily.

Assistant Stylist:
You will deliver the highest standard of pet care, demonstrating basic technical skills related to preparing and clipping dogs for grooming, including handling techniques, equipment use, and pre-grooming preparation. We will provide training, skills, and knowledge to help you deliver service that aligns with our goal of being the 'Best Pet Care Business in the World'. You will enjoy competitive pay, with opportunities to earn the Real Living Wage or more through our Earn As You Learn programmes, and additional pay through extra training.

Who are we looking for?

• People passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Flexible individuals who can work a shift pattern across 6 days a week (we are closed on Sundays). You will be contracted for a minimum of 39 hours but may work more during busy periods, absences, or holidays.
• Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment (note: bathing or grooming your own dog does not qualify as professional experience).
• Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Experience in a target-driven environment is advantageous but not essential.
