Job description

Stylist (Dog Groomer) – Doncaster – 24 Hours

Who are we?

We’re Pets at Home – a company with Pet Care Centres, including Pet Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices across the UK.

What’s the role?

Our Stylists are vital to our grooming salons' success. You will be responsible for all aspects of pet grooming, delivering high-standard, thorough grooms. You will exceed customer expectations through excellent service and communication, dealing with customers and pets daily.

We provide training, skills, and knowledge to help you reflect our goal of being the 'Best Pet Care Business in the World'. Enjoy a competitive base salary, with earning opportunities through our Earn As You Learn programmes and additional pay for extra training.

Who are we looking for?

• Passionate about delivering excellent service.
• Flexible, with the ability to work a shift pattern across 6 days a week (closed Sundays). The minimum contract is 39 hours, but additional hours may be required during busy periods, absences, or holidays.
• Confident with a good understanding of dog grooming, styles/trends, and able to complete high-standard grooms on various breeds from start to finish.
• Experience in a customer-facing salon environment preferred.
• Experience in a target-driven environment is preferred, but not essential if willing to work in one.
