Study Support Assistant LLDD, London Borough of Barnet

Temp Role - £75 - £80 per day

Are you a Learning Support Assistant/ Study Support Assistant looking for a role starting in August? An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Study Support Assistant / Personal Care Assistant in a college in Barnet, until June. The role involves supporting learners with SEND, including behaviours & PMLD, and providing personal care.

You will need:

  • Commitment to supporting learners with diverse needs, flexibility, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication, patience, and enthusiasm
  • Previous SEND experience is required
  • Knowledge of Makaton, PECs, and sensory approaches is advantageous
  • Willingness to provide personal care (e.g., wheelchair assistance, feeding)

About the role:

  • Working with students with ASD, complex needs, SEMH
  • Full and part-time options available
  • Previous support or care work experience preferred

Essential requirements include:

  • Enhanced DBS, police clearances, and references
  • CV covering last 10 years of employment
  • Legal right to work in the UK
