Job description

Join the Leicester College library team to help foster academic excellence through innovative study skills programmes. This is a new post within our team, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our Library services.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Develop and deliver curriculum-relevant Library study skills programmes to our students.

Create digital and e-learning content for the library pages on our virtual learning environment.

Liaise with curriculum teams to meet student needs.

Develop learning resources for outside classroom sessions.

Enhance Library resources and advise on effective usage.

Coordinate promotional campaigns for study skills programmes.

Attend Library Management Meetings and contribute to service development.

Stay updated on innovative practices in the FE sector.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong digital literacy and e-learning platform experience.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of FE sector trends.

Be confident in delivering sessions to students.

Have experience in writing and creating e-learning content.

Required Qualifications for the role:

Level 2 or equivalent qualification in maths and English

Level 3 qualification in ICT
