Job summary

Rastrick High School is seeking a dedicated Study Centre Assistant to lead the development and use of Study Centre resources for teaching and learning. You will supervise resource use within the Study Centre, working closely with teaching staff to extend the curriculum's reach.

The role requires prior experience in a Library/Study Centre, a commitment to safeguarding, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Library/Study Centre.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy competency.
• Ability to work with and contribute to your team.
• Confidence, enthusiasm and a passion for learning.
• Ability to build good working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead the development and use of Study Centre resources for learning and teaching.
• Supervise the correct use of study resources within the Study Centre alongside teaching staff.
• Develop uses of the Study Centre across the curriculum.
• Work with teaching staff to implement responsibilities in the Study Centre.
