As part of our commitment to delivering agile, high-impact creative solutions, we are establishing a new on-site Fast Response Content Centre embedded directly within our client's organisation. This dedicated hub will serve as a central engine for content creation, enabling closer collaboration, deeper brand integration, and faster turnaround on digital assets. By positioning the team at the heart of the client’s business, we ensure greater alignment with strategic priorities and the ability to produce, adapt, and deploy content at scale across multiple European markets, all while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.

This role will be based in Chertsey, with a requirement to work from the offices for 4 days per week. As with all Cheil roles, this is a 12-month fixed term contract in the first instance.

The Opportunity

The Studio/Content Production Lead will own the setup and management of a dedicated on-site content team within the Fast Response Content Centre, ensuring the delivery of high volumes of consistent, high-quality digital content across multiple European markets at speed. Working across asset production, campaign/toolkit creation, and rapid adaptations, you will maintain operational excellence, uphold brand standards, and enable the team to respond quickly to business and European D2C priorities.

This role is pivotal in balancing agility with operational rigor, managing workflows, and leveraging new tools, automation, and AI platforms to drive efficiency, speed, and quality across content production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team delivering across two core areas:

Asset Production
  • Lifestyle Asset Production – Studio-created lifestyle visuals
  • Static Content Production – Flat lays, product KV, RTBs, and social assets
  • Video Content Production – How-to videos, social edits, and demo shoots
Campaign / Toolkit Production
  • Local Campaigns – Creative for ad hoc, market-specific activations
  • D2C Always-On Content – Assets with biannual refreshes and personalised variants for six customer segments
  • EO Channel Exclusives – Up to 20 exclusive content pieces for EO platforms, including app activations and partner content
Platform Ownership, Automation & AI
  • Lead ownership and optimisation of project management platforms (e.g., Jira) and marketing cloud systems to ensure seamless workflows and resource allocation.
  • Oversee and implement automation and AI tools (Adobe Firefly, Creative X, Dragonfly, and other content production platforms) to enhance efficiency, quality, and creative output.
  • Continuously refine production processes using automation and AI, driving operational excellence and faster turnaround times.
Workflow & Resourcing Management
  • Own the end-to-end production workflow in Jira — from brief to delivery — ensuring transparency, efficiency, and timely execution across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Manage the design queue, run weekly workflow check-ins, allocate work based on timelines, and monitor team bandwidth.
  • Integrate AI-assisted scheduling and workflow tools where relevant to optimise capacity and throughput.
Creative Project Management
  • Maintain detailed project trackers, mapping tasks, specifications, formats, and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee creative delivery end-to-end, coordinating timelines, feedback loops, and final approvals across markets and internal teams.
  • Proactively identify risks or blockers, keeping all team members aligned and accountable throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary contact between content/design teams and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensure clear briefs, resolve blockers, and manage stakeholder expectations with confidence and clarity.
Asset Management & Library Hygiene
  • Oversee asset management systems, file organisation, and version control to support clear handover and content reuse.
  • Ensure files are stored properly and remain easily accessible to internal teams and partners.
  • Implement AI-assisted tagging, search, and versioning where applicable.
Brand Guardian & Quality Control
  • Perform final checks on all creative outputs — verifying consistency, spelling, imagery, and compliance with brand guidelines before delivery.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for brand integrity and creative excellence.
Key Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in content production or operations roles, ideally in-house or within an embedded agency setup.
  • Strong experience working across multiple European markets, including localisation, toolkit creation, and translation workflows.
  • Proven ability to lead and scale content operations across digital, static, video, and campaign outputs.
  • Skilled in using Jira (or similar project management tools) to manage complex workflows and content pipelines.
  • Experience with asset management systems and maintaining organised, accessible content libraries.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AI content creation tools and automation platforms to optimise production efficiency.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Confident collaborating with creative teams while upholding process, efficiency, and delivery clarity.
About you
  • Proactive, organised, and able to lead a high-volume content team with confidence.
  • Agile and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, multi-market environment.
  • Strong communicator, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Passionate about driving operational excellence, workflow optimisation, AI integration, and creative quality.
