Jobs in Fitness Balham is seeking an experienced Studio Manager to lead a collection premium Reformer Pilates studios in Balham, taking ownership of the team, timetable and day-to-day operation in a multi-studio leadership role. You will mentor instructors, shape the timetable, drive local partnerships and create a warm, community-focused member experience while ensuring high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experienced managing a Pilates, reformer, boutique fitness or wellness studio, with a track record of leading supervisors and instructors.
• A confident people leader who creates structure, accountability and a strong team culture.
• Experienced building rotas and class timetables, ideally across more than one studio or concept.
• A Pilates or reformer qualification is a plus but not essential.
• Community-minded and creative, with ideas for local partnerships and events and the drive to make them happen.
• Organised, calm under pressure and quick to solve problems on the floor.
• Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
• Warm, polished and service-led, with genuine care for members and the team.
• Flexible to work early, late and weekend shifts when needed, with mid shifts as the core pattern.
• Experience with booking platforms such as Mindbody, Momence or MarianaTek is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the studio team, including the supervisors and the instructor team.
• Own the day-to-day running of the studio, detailing presentation, cleanliness, equipment and supplier management.
• Build and manage the class timetable and rota to meet member demand and instructor availability.
• Mentor instructors and raise class standards in collaboration with master trainers.
• Drive local marketing activity and community partnerships to grow Balham bookings.
• Deliver a warm, consistent member experience and resolve issues quickly and fairly.
• Keep leadership informed and address issues promptly.
