Job summary

Love Recruitment seeks a Studio Manager (Lead Instructor) for a boutique Pilates brand launching a new Abu Dhabi studio. You’ll join as Lead Instructor with the franchisee during opening, then take ownership of the studio’s commercial performance and team culture.

Responsibilities include delivering classes, driving presales, mentoring staff, and maintaining brand standards across operations and community building.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer or recognised Pilates certification (Mat or Reformer).
• Strong group fitness teaching experience (Pilates, HIIT, cycling, barre or similar).
• Previous team leadership or studio management experience, or readiness to step up.
• Commercial awareness with sales and membership conversations (presale or launch experience is a bonus).
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills.
• Experience with studio software such as Mindbody is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set standards, culture and tone of the studio from day one.
• Drive presale campaigns and membership sales ahead of opening.
• Support marketing, social content, local outreach, partnerships and events.
• Lead sales conversations and convert enquiries into memberships.
• Deliver classes with precise cueing and correct form.
• Identify and modify for client injuries as needed.
• Introduce new clients to equipment before first class.
• Mentor and onboard instructors to brand standards.
• Oversee daily studio operations and member experience.
• Develop and manage the instructor schedule and time off.
• Drive membership growth and monitor KPIs.
• Keep the studio clean, safe and on-brand.
• Manage studio social media and local events.
• Continue teaching a regular weekly schedule.

Studio Manager (Lead Instructor)

Boutique Pilates Studio, Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi

About the Brand

Our client is a fast growing international boutique fitness brand, opening a brand new studio in Khalifa City. Its signature workout is Pilates inspired and cardio infused, delivering a full body session that is low impact and high intensity. Classes run on specialist reformer based equipment that integrates rowing and cycling, set to music and lighting for an energetic, immersive experience.

The Role

This is a launch opportunity. You'll join as Lead Instructor and work closely with the franchisee, who will run the studio as owner manager during the opening period. Together you'll set the tone for the studio, from the presale campaign through to launch and the first months of trading. After around three to four months, you'll step up into the full Studio Manager role, with ownership of the studio’s commercial performance, team and community.

Phase 1: Lead Instructor and Launch Partner

• Work alongside the franchisee to set the standards, culture and tone of the studio from day one

• Play an active role in the presale campaign, driving founding memberships ahead of opening

• Support marketing activity, including social media content, local outreach, partnerships and launch events

• Lead sales conversations with prospective members and convert enquiries and trial classes into memberships

• Deliver classes to the set schedule, with clear, precise cueing and correct form at all times

• Know clients' injuries before class and modify where needed

• Introduce every new client to the equipment before their first class

• Mentor, onboard and support the instructor team to brand standards

Phase 2: Studio Manager

• Oversee all daily studio operations and ensure an exceptional member experience

• Lead, develop and hold the instructor team accountable, including scheduling, cover and time off

• Drive membership growth, conversion and retention, and monitor key studio KPIs

• Keep the studio clean, safe, organised and on brand at every touchpoint

• Manage studio social media and support local outreach, partnerships and events

• Continue to teach a regular weekly class schedule

What We’re Looking For

• Certified Personal Trainer or recognised Pilates certification (Mat or Reformer)

• Strong group fitness teaching experience (Pilates, HIIT, cycling, barre or similar)

• Previous team leadership or studio management experience, or clear readiness to step up

• Commercial awareness, with confidence in sales and membership conversations (presale or studio launch experience is a strong advantage)

• Excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills

• Experience with studio software such as Mindbody is an advantage
