Job summary

Wood Mackenzie is seeking a Studio Manager to lead our Brand & Creative operations in Edinburgh. You will oversee the studio’s daily workflow, prioritise projects, and ensure timely delivery across design, video and brand initiatives.

Working with the Brand Manager and Head of Brand & Creative, you’ll manage freelancers and suppliers UK-wide, drive process improvements, and champion AI-assisted workflows to increase efficiency while maintaining high creative quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Studio Manager, Creative Project Manager or similar operational role.
• Hands-on with Asana or a comparable workflow tool.
• Experience managing freelance/agency suppliers and budgets.
• Ability to build dashboards and measure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the studio, ensuring projects are tracked, prioritized and delivered on time.
• Administer and improve the team’s use of Asana as the central workflow system.
• Maintain capacity/workload visibility and resolve bottlenecks.
• Chair regular team stand-ups and project reviews with clear actions.
• Maintain clear SLAs for creative delivery and ensure timely sign-off.
• Review incoming briefs, push back on unclear scopes, and protect team focus.
• Manage brand templates and assets to minimize rework and keep content on-brand.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across marketing and the wider organisation.
• Oversee freelance/supplier relationships and budget, tracking spend and ensuring value.
• Measure efficiency gains, reporting to Head of Brand & Creative.
• Support team with capacity planning and communication.
