Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking a Studio Leader to take ownership of the London studio, overseeing day-to-day operations, driving commercial performance, and building a high-performing team. You'll lead strategic planning, people leadership, client development and business winning, while remaining close to live project delivery, with full accountability for the studio's success.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a consultancy, engineering or design-led business.
• Track record of bringing in new work and growing client accounts profitably.
• Commercial confidence and ownership of numbers, not just reporting.
• History of delivering projects on time, on budget, to a high standard.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management under pressure.
• Comfort splitting time between leading the studio and live projects.
• Sound quality assurance and risk management.
• Drive, accountability and front-line leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the studio's financial performance end to end, budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive new business, grow a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
• Lead pricing, fee negotiations and terms with clients.
• Stay involved in fee-earning work while leading the studio.
• Set the bar for design and technical quality across outputs.
• Monitor project progress studio-wide and resolve issues early.
• Coach and grow the team, fostering accountability and performance.
• Represent the business at sector events and with clients.
• Participate at leadership level and feed into wider strategy.
