Job summary

Bournemouth University invites a compassionate Wellbeing Practitioner to join the Counselling & Wellbeing service. You will hold a relevant professional qualification and deliver assessments, short-term interventions and group/workshop facilitation to promote student wellbeing and success.

The role is based within Student Services with opportunities for hybrid working and flexible arrangements where possible; interviews are scheduled for late September. BU offers extensive staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification in wellbeing/mental health.
• Experience and skills to undertake assessments and provide short-term interventions.
• Ability to facilitate groups and workshops to promote student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Undertake psychological wellbeing assessments and short-term interventions.
• Facilitate wellbeing groups and workshops for students.
• Collaborate with Student Services to support student retention, engagement and progression.
