Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in educational or community settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm, organised, and able to respond to medical/welfare concerns.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of children.
• Hold, or be willing to undertake, relevant first aid training.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for pupils with medical needs.
• Respond swiftly in emergencies and liaise with families and healthcare professionals.
• Staff the student reception before/after school and at breaks.
• Support attendance with pupils on alternative or adapted timetables.
• Maintain accurate pastoral and welfare records.
• Undertake home visits for pupils with attendance concerns.
• Manage stock of first aid supplies.
