Job summary

Study Group is seeking a dedicated professional to lead student wellbeing and engagement at Kingston University International Study Centre. The role includes safeguarding oversight, coordinating Welfare and Enrichment Officers, and ensuring a positive student experience in partnership with university stakeholders.

The post is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 1 year, reporting to the Director of Campus Operations, with responsibility for DSL duties and safeguarding compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent experience) to work independently.
  • Administration or management training or qualification.
  • Higher level safeguarding training.
  • Line management of staff.
  • Supporting students in an educational context.
  • Developing and maintaining the Student Experience.
  • Working in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate student welfare, safeguarding, Prevent and Enrichment within the centre.
  • Ensure effective case management of welfare concerns and LDHD information.
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead with escalation authority.
  • Monitor student whereabouts and coordinate procedures.
  • Create and approve Support Plans including Safety and Exit Plans.
  • Organise induction and wellbeing activities; produce related materials.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Coordinator Progression to support students.
  • Analyse data to identify welfare enhancements and drive changes.
  • Escalate concerns to the Student Experience Leader and Central Wellbeing team.
  • Maintain Welfare section on the online Virtual Reception.
