A reputable educational institution in the East Midlands is seeking a dedicated Counsellor/Mental Health Worker to provide therapeutic support to students in a part-time, fixed-term role until 30th June 2026. The ideal candidate will have a recognised counselling qualification at the Diploma level or above, along with strong communication and organisational skills. Responsibilities include delivering support through various methods to enhance student wellbeing. This position offers a salary range of £16,519 – £17,705 per annum.

Qualifications

• Confident in managing a varied caseload, working independently and collaboratively.
• Current membership with a recognised professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP).
• Adherence to relevant ethical and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver counselling support using a blended approach.
• Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online sessions.
