Job summary

GEDU Global Education is seeking a Part-time Wellbeing Officer to support students across London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester. The role focuses on pastoral wellbeing, guidance, and referring students to appropriate services while maintaining confidential records in line with GDPR.

Working hours are fixed (Wed–Sun, 2pm–8pm midweek and 3pm–7:30pm weekends). On-site across multiple campuses with a fixed schedule and no sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant area, preferably health related.
• Prior experience in an adjacent or similar role, preferably within higher education.
• Knowledge of the DDA and SENDA and how to implement their guidelines.
• Familiar with JCQ and reasonable adjustments for learning differences.
• Experience with disabilities and learning difficulties in mainstream settings.
• Ability to discuss needs sensitively and plan an Additional Support programme.

Responsibilities

• Managing student referrals with the Wellbeing Manager and liaising with academic teams and external services.
• Providing pastoral support to students with social or emotional issues and ensuring accommodations are addressed.
• Maximising attendance by supporting students with engagement strategies.
• Providing immediate drop-in and appointment-based assistance to students.
• Maintaining accurate Wellbeing records in line with GDPR.
• Assisting with health and wellbeing events and activities for students.
