Job summary

Queen Mary University of London is seeking a Student Wellbeing Adviser to act as a first point of contact for students experiencing mental health difficulties, providing guidance, wellbeing support and triage referrals. You will deliver one-to-one wellbeing sessions, support coping strategies, contribute to wellbeing campaigns and work with colleagues across the university, maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Experience in wellbeing, mental health or student support settings.
• Knowledge of NHS referral pathways and key legislation (Equality Act, Mental Health Act, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Triaging mental health and counselling referrals.
• Delivering one-to-one wellbeing sessions and supporting coping strategies.
• Contributing to wellbeing campaigns, staff training and service development.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting processes; working with partners.
