Job summary

RADA is seeking a part-time Student Wellbeing Adviser to provide empathetic counselling and wellbeing support to a diverse student body.

Working within the Student and Academic Services team, you will deliver one-to-one counselling, wellbeing advice, and early intervention while helping to develop wellbeing initiatives and raise awareness across the institution.

Qualifications

• Provides counselling and wellbeing support.
• Experience in one-to-one counselling or student wellbeing is beneficial.
• Ability to contribute to wellbeing initiatives and awareness campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one counselling and wellbeing advice.
• Provide early intervention support for students.
• Develop and promote wellbeing initiatives within the student community.

Salary band: £39,535 FTE

Hours: Part-time, 18 hours per week

The Role

We are looking for an empathetic and compassionate Student Wellbeing Adviser to provide counselling and wellbeing support to

our diverse student body.

Working as part of the Student and Academic Services team, you will deliver one-to-one counselling, wellbeing advice and early

intervention support, while contributing to a proactive, institution-wide approach to student wellbeing. Alongside delivering

one-to-one support, you will play a key role in developing wellbeing initiatives, promoting awareness, and fostering a culture where

students feel supported and able to thrive.

The Team

You will join our Student and Academic Services department as part of the Wellbeing Team. Working closely with the Head of Student Wellbeing, Disability Coordinator and counselling team, you will contribute to a supportive and collaborative service that places student wellbeing at the heart of the student experience. Our small and highly effective team plays a vital role in supporting students throughout their academic journey, helping to ensure a positive and enriching experience from enrolment to graduation.

Collaboration is central to the team’s approach, with a strong shared commitment to student support, operational excellence, and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion across all aspects of the student experience.
