Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in student welfare and safeguarding processes.
• Experience working with young people across key stages 3–5 is desirable.
• ICT competency and ability to track welfare data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor attendance, punctuality and behaviour for a cohort and follow up appropriately.
• Develop and monitor pastoral support programmes for individual students.
• Support heads of year with following up behaviour incidents.
• Supervise detentions after school and independent study periods.
• Provide restorative mediation for students individually and in groups.
• Liaise with internal colleagues and external agencies to tailor support.
• Attend multidisciplinary forums such as tac meetings.
• Contribute to accurate welfare data tracking and reporting.
