Job summary

The University of Leicester Students' Union is seeking a Student Staff member to support the Academic Representation Team and help empower College, School and Course Representatives. You will assist with engagement activities and help operate democratic structures to ensure student voice is heard across the Union and University.

The role requires excellent communication and administrative skills, with a good understanding of representational structures and the ability to liaise with a wide range

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Academic Representation Team to empower College, School and Course Representatives.
• Assist with the operation of the Students’ Union Democratic Structures, including Leicester 100, Councils, Ideas System, and support Executive Officers and Part-Time Officers in their projects.
• Assist with delivery of engagement activities such as stalls, Freshers Fair, Student Leaders Conference, Academic Rep Briefings and attending Student Staff Committees.
• Support the implementation of the Knowledge Bank project to consolidate student feedback in one place.
