Qualifications

• Holds a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in maintenance or facilities environment.
• Knowledge of building maintenance and health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, proactive and committed to high standards.
• Understands confidentiality and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance, safety and security of the school premises.
• Drive school minibuses to transport students safely to and from school and off-site activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles.
• Assist with health and safety compliance, including fire safety and statutory checks.
• Support contractors and maintenance projects across the site.
• Act as a key holder and support site security procedures.
• Maintain accurate records relating to maintenance activities and inspections.
• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and external partners.
