Swale Academies Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, positive individual to join our student support team. The successful candidate will supervise classes in the absence of the subject teacher, requiring strong classroom management and clear guidance to students.

This non-teaching role offers autonomy, a chance to gain experience before progressing in teaching, and a supportive environment that values staff development and progression.

Qualifications

• Relishes the challenge of working with young people.
• Has an NVQ level 2 in relevant qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience of working with young people in a similar environment.
• The ability to take charge of a classroom and give clear instructions and guidance to students.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of classes in the absence of the subject teacher.
• Demonstrate classroom management and give clear instructions to students.
