Job summary

Inspire Education Group is seeking two Student Mentors for 12-month fixed-term contracts in Peterborough. You will plan and deliver personal development sessions, provide pastoral support, monitor attendance and work with curriculum teams to improve student engagement.

A Level 3 teaching-related qualification and Level 2 English/Maths are required, with a strong safeguarding focus. The role is 37 hours per week, term-time only, with a salary of £28,074 per year.

• Experience supporting young people in an educational setting.
• Delivery of group sessions.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging personal development sessions.
• Provide pastoral support and help students access support services.
• Monitor attendance and punctuality; identify concerns and intervene.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams, parents/carers and external agencies.
• Support student progression, careers guidance, recruitment events and induction activities.
• Follow safeguarding, confidentiality and equality and diversity procedures.
