Job summary

Inspire Education Group (IEG) in Peterborough is seeking two Student Mentors for 12-month fixed-term contracts to support students in achieving positive outcomes. The role focuses on pastoral care, attendance, and personal development within a school setting.

• Experience supporting young people in educational settings.

• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging personal development sessions.
• Provide pastoral support and help students access appropriate support services.
• Monitor attendance and punctuality, identifying concerns and implementing interventions to improve engagement and retention.
• Work collaboratively with curriculum teams, parents/carers and external agencies where appropriate.
• Support student progression, careers guidance, recruitment events and induction activities.
• Follow safeguarding, confidentiality and equality and diversity procedures.
