Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Higher Education Institution environment in teaching or academic support role.
• Good understanding of current practices and developments in own discipline.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to a set number of students, helping them with their academic needs and queries.
• Ensure student retention and satisfaction by offering support.
• Liaise between students and the academic team.

Skills

Understanding of evidence-led/practice-based teaching

Experience in tutoring

Education

Bachelor’s degree from any UK recognised university
