Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor)

Join to apply for the Student Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) role at Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust.

This position covers the Bedfordshire and Luton area. We seek dynamic individuals eager to develop their skills in this field. The pathway includes enrolling in the PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN – health visitor) course starting January 2026, in collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire. This program offers comprehensive training and a fulfilling career opportunity.

Upon successful course completion, you will be offered a Health Visitor post within the Healthy Child Programme Services. We also provide webinars to support your application process.

Requirements:

• Passionate about public health, with a 'think family' approach to interventions, aiming to improve outcomes for children and young people.
• Current NMC registration (with a live PIN) in any nursing or midwifery branch, meeting the university's academic requirements, with 50% of your time dedicated to academic study and 50% to practice experience within health visiting or school nursing teams.
• Ability to commit to 52 weeks of the course at the University of Hertfordshire, including timetabled annual leave.
