Job summary

Tiffin School in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a Safeguarding and Pastoral Support Officer to join our safeguarding team. You will collaborate with the DSL, Safeguarding Manager and DDSLs to identify risks, conduct robust risk assessments and support timely interventions to protect students.

You'll build supportive relationships with students and parents, promote wellbeing, monitor attendance and behaviour, and ensure compliance with safeguarding frameworks, data protection, and multi-agency

Qualifications

• Experience with safeguarding in a school or relevant setting.
• Ability to work with children and families and build positive relationships.
• Solid understanding of safeguarding procedures and multi-agency work.

Responsibilities

• Risk Identification & Intervention: identify at-risk students and plan safety measures.
• Casework & Multi-Agency Liaison: manage referrals with external agencies for early help and statutory support.
• Student Advocacy & Pastoral Care: support vulnerable learners and oversee pastoral interventions.
