Skipton Girls’ High School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Student Progress Assistant to support behaviour for learning, academic progress and achievement across the sixth form and beyond.
Hours are 37 per week, term time only plus one week. You will work with the Student Progress team, assist the SENCo, supervise students in absence of teachers and help with wellbeing.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Student Progress Assistant with a genuine interest in supporting young people to achieve high standards in behaviour for learning, academic progress and achievement. The majority of the role focuses on sixth form, but the successful candidate will be expected to work across the age range as required.
Student Progress Assistants work as part of a team which is led by the Student Progress Director: Student Progress Experience of working with young people or within a school setting, counselling skills or SEND experience would be an advantage. Appropriate training and support will be available.
