Lancaster University seeks a proactive Student Programmes Coordinator for the Faculty Education Services team. The role focuses on enhancing the student experience and delivering high-quality administrative support, guided by a Faculty Education Services Manager.

You will be placed in one of several schools and may move between teams to meet business needs. A full induction and internal training are provided to develop skills including digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the student experience across the Faculty through proactive administrative support.
• Provide high quality administrative support to enable effective teaching and learning activities.
• Collaborate within the Faculty Education Services team and across schools (Arts, Global Affairs, Law, Social Sciences, PGR Hub).
• Be flexible to work across teams as business needs change and participate in a full induction and training programme.

Student Programmes Coordinator 1FTE

The (FHASS) is looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Faculty Education Services team from December 2026 as a Student Programmes Coordinator. You will work collaboratively within the team, enhancing the student experience across the Faculty, as well as enabling high quality administrative support, under the management of Student Programmes Officers led by the Faculty Education Services Manager

You will be placed initially within one of the following teams, noting that as a member of the Faculty Education Services team, movement and support may be required in other areas to suit business needs:

• School of Arts
• School of Global Affairs
• School of Law
• School of Social Sciences
• Postgraduate Research (PGR) Hub

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work both independently, as well as part of the wider Education Services team. A full induction and training programme will be provided and opportunities for professional development in areas such as digital systems (plus more!|). For example, the role requires a knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, but this knowledge can also be built further through internal training processes.

This post is offered as full-time on a fixed term basis until the end of July 2027 in the first instance. A hybrid working pattern may be discussed but you would also be welcome to work fully on campus. Please note that this is not a remote working role.
