Job summary

Organon LLC in Cramlington, Northumberland, is offering a 12-month engineering student placement starting August 2026. You will join the Packaging IPT Engineering Team and contribute to site projects, problem solving, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will gain hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, participate in continuous improvement, and develop skills in communication, teamwork, and project execution under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently studying an Engineering related degree.
• 12-month placement in third or penultimate year of study.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day business support and assist with engineering and packaging projects.
• Develop technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Contribute to improvement initiatives, problem-solving, and investigations into safety incidents or customer complaints.
• Compliance with our Company’s Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day-to-day activities and all applicable job functions.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects focused on Safety, Quality, Supply, or Cost.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and SOPs, and accurately record and apply training received.

The position available is within the Packaging Integrated Process Team (IPT) Engineering Team at Organon. Organon is recruiting for an Engineering student to join us by the beginning of August 2026 for 12 months for a student placement to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.

Key Responsibilities
