Job summary

Organon is offering a 12-month IT student placement at its manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. Based in the Business Technology unit, the role provides hands-on experience across IT systems, project work and data analysis within a production environment.

You'll support, develop and improve IT systems, contribute to digital innovation and manufacturing automation, and work in an Agile team to deliver value while adhering to GMP and corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Currently studying IT or related field, in 3rd or penultimate year, returning to studies after placement.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and development of IT systems across the business.
• Contribute to projects in digital innovation, manufacturing automation, lab systems, infrastructure and networks.
• Lead individual projects with guidance from the team.
• Analyse and visualise production-critical data to support decision-making.
• Maintain and improve existing systems through change management and stakeholder collaboration.

• Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory IT standards, including GMP.

The position available is within the Business Technology unit at Organon. The position is based in Cramlington, Northumberland at the Organon Manufacturing site. The Cramlington site has been a key manufacturing facility since 1975. Organon is recruiting for an IT student to join us by the beginning of August 2027 for 12 months for a student placement to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.
