Job summary

Organon in the UK is seeking a STEM student for a 12-month engineering placement at our site in Cramlington, Northumberland. You will support project governance, progress tracking, and continuous improvement across the engineering function, while gaining hands-on experience in a global healthcare company.

Ideal candidates are studying Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, in 3rd year or penultimate year, and returning to study after placement. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident in written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project governance activities including reporting, risk management, action tracking and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor progress and support project objectives.
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes.
• Support planning, coordination and delivery of key engineering projects with milestones, budgets and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

Organon is recruiting for a STEM student to join us by the beginning of August 2027 for 12 months for a student placement to join our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland.

This internship is a fantastic opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a dynamic, real-world setting while building relationships and learning from experienced professionals.

During your 12-month placement, you’ll be involved in:

• Assisting with project governance activities, including project reporting, risk management, action tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and support the successful execution of project objectives.
• Leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and ways of working across the engineering function.

• Ensuring full compliance with our company's policies, procedures, and global standards, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
