Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking an Inclusion & Development Coordinator to join the Health, Social Care & Childcare team in Bedford. You will support learners by coordinating targeted interventions, promoting wellbeing and safeguarding, and working with curriculum teams to ensure inclusive, student-centered development.

This role is 37 hours per week across a 40 week year, permanent, with a competitive salary and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 3 or above with GCSE English and Maths.
• Experience in student support, advice and guidance, coaching or mentoring.
• Strong safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion understanding.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel across campuses as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate targeted learner support, identify barriers to attendance and progression, and implement interventions.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams and partners to provide inclusive support and coordinate referrals.
• Promote wellbeing and safeguarding, support student development, and manage safeguarding updates.
• Maintain intervention records, track progress, and report trends.
• Contribute to improvements, promote equality, and support events and safeguarding duties.
