Job summary

Arden University is seeking a Student Hub Advisor on a 6-month fixed-term contract, based in the United Kingdom. You will be the first point of contact for our diverse student body, supporting across in-person, phone, email, live chat and messenger, delivering a friendly, proactive service.

This role includes evening and some Saturday shifts during teaching weeks, with hours typically 37 per week, and Saturday hours paid at a higher rate with a day off in lieu.

About our Department

Our Student Hub Advisors sit within our Student Experience team who are crucial to providing pastoral support and career advice to students to maintain student welfare. This includes providing the best experience and guidance from application, admission, through to graduation.

About the Opportunity

As a Student Hub Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for our diverse student body, providing support across various communication channels including in-person, phone, email, live chat, and messenger. Your excellent customer care skills will help you listen attentively to student needs, offering tailored solutions that enhance their university experience. We expect you to consistently exceed expectations, delivering a personal, friendly, and approachable service that truly makes a difference.

To include up to two evening shifts per week Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday 11:30am - 8pm and up to five Saturday shifts per semester 9am - 2pm.

Saturday shifts are paid at a higher rate with Monday (or another weekday) off in lieu.

Working hours outside the semester will be usual business hours, Monday to Friday.

Saturday hours to begin from teaching week 1 of the November semester.
