Job summary

The University of Edinburgh invites applications for student intern roles in Academic Planning (Registry Services). These part-time posts (0.4 FTE) are fixed-term until 31 July 2027, with a salary in the UE04 range and a hybrid working option.

Applicants must be currently matriculated taught students based in the UK for the duration of the contract. The role focuses on researching student course selection and enrolment, gathering feedback from peers, and turning findings into actionable insights

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a taught student (UG or PGT) at the University of Edinburgh.
• Interest in user research, service design, or data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to organise and interpret information.

Responsibilities

• Support TTCS project research into student course selection and enrolment.
• Assist with data-related tasks and turning findings into insights and visuals.
• Attend workshops and engagement sessions as required.
• Collaborate with the project team and university decision-makers.
