Job summary

Study Group is seeking a data-focused administrator at Huddersfield International Study Centre to support data management, assessments and academic administration, and student finance. The role will report to the Deputy Director of Student Experience and involve working in a matrix structure with central teams and university partners to ensure smooth centre operations.

The post holder will manage governance processes, ensure Study Group policies are followed and help prepare for quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in supporting students in an educational context
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• Ability to develop and maintain the Student Experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain data and student results, produce reports for Head of Centre
• Assist governance boards and ensure SOPs are followed
• Support quality assurance and enhancement activities
• Update student bookings and ensure timely, accurate reports and feedback
• Assist with board meetings and data/administration tasks

Salary:up to£28,000 per annum

To be a member of the Centre’sStudent ExperienceTeam withresponsibilityfor data management,assessmentsand academic administration,student finance.

To implementStudy Group’s policies, standard operatingprocessesand procedures, with the purpose of ensuring staff and students are fully supported to maximizestudentoutcomes and satisfaction.

The post holder will report to theDeputy Director of Student Experience.The post holder willwork in matrix structure and need tobuild strong working relationships within theStudent ExperienceTeam,centralStudy Groupteams and theuniversity partner to ensure the smooth running of theCentre.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Data Management

• Maintain theCentre’s definitive datasets and student results, ensuring accuracy and currencyandproducereports for the Head of Centre/other members of the team as requested
• Act as secretary to relevantgovernanceboardsasrequired
• Ensure Study Group policies and standard operating procedures arefollowed
• Support management teams in preparation for quality assurance and enhancement activities.
• Liaise with central teams to updatestudent bookings with Study Plan changes
• Ensure student reports are producedin a timely mannerand information isaccurateand student feedback isprofessional.
• Supportmanagement withboard meetings.

Assessments & Academic Administration

• Assistthecentremanagers with theimplementationofassessmentstandards and regulations.
• Organise the release of assessment screens termly.
• Organise andassistwith invigilation ofassessments .
• Organise the verification process of assessments, security, collation, distribution, collection and archiving of assessments, examinationscriptsand documentation.
• Ensure thevarious systems used arereviewed and updated asrequired.
• Log and ensure accuracy and updating of allassessment documentation (for example appeals; academic misconduct; mitigating circumstances)

Student FinanceandProgression

• To deal with fee payment deadlines and enquiries
• To create record of student invoices
• To follow centre refund policies and create refund data
• Ensure student enrolment documentation are prepared and sharedin a timely manner
• Ensure the progression database is kept up to date and provided to the relevant stakeholdersin a timely manner
• Ensure progression changes are checked,recordedand shared with the relevantteams.

General

• Be a key point of contact for all students and deal professionally and promptly with student enquiries and requests forsupport,fosteringpositive relationships with the student body.
• Assistinorganisinganddeliveringstudentevents such asinduction,transitionand enrichment activities
• Liaise with central teams to manageworkload in busy periods or during absence
• In liaison with central teams contribute to the continuous improvements of processes and communication to enhance the student experience
• To foster productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Any other duties as requiredby theDeputy DirectorofStudent Experience or Centre Director.
