Job summary

De Montfort University is seeking a maternity cover for the role overseeing the Careers and Employability provision across the University. You will lead Unitemps, internships, enterprise and mentoring activities to deliver high-quality services for students and graduates.

The successful candidate will bring leadership experience in careers or employability services, strong organisation, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while managing diverse stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in careers or employability services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting, reporting and compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management, development and delivery of employability provision across the University (Unitemps, Internships, Enterprise and mentoring).
• Manage Unitemps as a commercially focused, compliant recruitment service with financial oversight and service development.
• Develop and expand internship and paid work experience opportunities; collaborate with internal/external partners to improve graduate outcomes.
