About the role:
As a Job Coach, you will support and develop students of all abilities to gain essential employability skills within our Learning Companies. You will work closely with the Course Leader to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the companies, working across all learning companies as needed.
You will assess and monitor students’ progress and support them to plan and achieve their learning outcomes and targets.
This is a permanent, full-time, term-time-only position, working 35 hours per week (0.8 FTE) at our Reading College campus.
What do you need to be a successful job coach at Activate Learning?
You should have significant experience working with young people with SEND in a teaching or training environment. Ability to simplify job roles and give clear instructions is essential. Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive networks and relationships are also required. Experience in an FE environment is desirable.
